What do we do?

We are not an Insurer or a broker, we are a search engine. You type in your details once and we visit many other websites on your behalf to find you a competitive deal.

Our price comparison helps you to find the best deal in the market and save money on your car insurance.

What you must do?

In order to provide you with the fastest quote we ask the minimum number of questions and default several answers. These answers determine the price you are are offered by the insurance provider. It is very important that you answer all questions truthfully and disclose all information that may be relevant. Failure to do so could invalidate your insurance. It is an offence under the Road Traffic Act to make false statements or withhold information to obtain insurance. You can be prosecuted for not holding valid insurance as well as being liable for third party property damage and repairs to your own vehicle and property.

Price guarantee

Companies change their prices and tweak their rates on a regular basis. Some even do so daily.  When you receive your quotes, it will tell you how long each provider guarantees their price. The price quoted to you will be accurate at the time of issue, based on the details you provided and confirmed.

Price return

We are reliant on the availability of third party websites and so may not be able to return a price for the whole panel of insurance providers on every occasion.

If you are identified from your answers as a non-standard risk (eg high performance vehicle, driving convictions) you may receive fewer prices. On occasions you may not receive a price online and we will provide you with a specialist telephone number of a provider who will be able to help you. In addition the insurance providers who have quoted the lowest prices will be passed contact details in order to complete the quoting process.

How do you accept the quote?

To accept the price we have found for you, you must contact the insurance provider direct. From our price comparison you will be able to access their site and we will inform you of the relevant reference.

Details you must check

You must ensure that all your details are correct as failure to do so could result in you not having insurance cover. It is important to check any assumptions made by the insurance provider as they form part of the contract between you. Incorrect information could invalidate your insurance cover. Remember it is illegal to drive without a valid certificate of insurance.

You must also check all information on the insurance providers' website before entering into the contract, as we accept no responsibility or liability for information incorrectly entered by our technology. We exclude all liability, which by law we can exclude, in respect of all losses you may incur.

You must also read the terms and conditions on the insurance providers own website as they are separate from ours. These are the terms and conditions that you agree to be bound by when buying from them.

Passing on information about you

Please be aware that once you use our website or our Services, you will be regarded as having given your consent to us disclosing your personal information to the following parties:

• Third party providers whose products or services are listed on the results pages of the channels on our website, for the purposes of obtaining an online insurance quotation for you;
• The Financial Services Authority and/or other regulatory/governing bodies for the purposes of compliance monitoring;
• Other third parties either where necessary for those third parties to provide insurance;
• Informing you of offers and services which may be of interest

Please also be aware that if you click the "Start Quote" button on the Website, you will be regarded as having given your consent to us providing you with information, offers and services that may be of interest to you. For example, we may e-mail you or send you a text message letting you know how you could save money by switching insurance provider.

What to do if you have a complaint?

We hope that we provide you with an excellent service. If you feel we are not living up to our own high standards, please tell us by contacting our Operations Director through the 'Enquiries' button on our website.

We will respond to your complaint within 5 working days.
